Bleu has a tragic story as he was given away by his original owner to someone she thought would love and care for him as much as she did. Unfortunately, after a few months the communication stopped coming for the new owner. When the original owner went to physically check on him, she found him in this condition and rushed him to the ER. Given away in June 2025 weighing 80lbs, reclaimed him in March 2026 weighing 39.7lbs. Not having the funds to cover the cost of live saving care, MLCR was contacted and the village rallied to help Bleu. He is on the road to recovery, but it will take months to get him healthy again.
