Zambetti – 10 Year Old, Female

Zambetti (Diamond) another beautiful senior girl bred repeatedly then dumped in a shelter at 9 years, 10months of age and very sick. Poor girl had a senior blood panel done (thank you Lara) in preparation for a routine spay, we were saddened by the results as she was severely anemic with thyroid concerns. MLCR is currently working with her foster on thyroid issues as well as anemia. Her anemia has steadily improved and medication appears to be controlling the thyroid. MLCR was able to save Zambetti thanks to an amazing foster. Seniors are the most overlooked dogs in shelters; we’d love to save more but need committed fosters, please consider joining our family by becoming a foster.
